Selangor appoints two officers to look into upgrading works on roads, drainage system

SHAH ALAM: A day after assuming the Infrastructure and Public Amenities portfolio, Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim has appointed two special officers to look into the upgrading works on roads and the drainage system.
Rawang assemblyman Gan Pei Nei and Kumpulan Semesta Sdn Bhd director V. Ganabatirau will be tasked to coordinate road and drainage upgrading works carried out by the Public Works Department (JKR) and the
local councils.
The appointment of the duo is effective immediately, said a statement released by the Mentri Besar's office on Thursday.
