Coffee lovers in Malaysia can rejoice as Ricmas Services (M) Sdn Bhd has officially launched its first Espresso Boutique at Kuala Lumpur’s latest lifestyle hub, Rivercity. The espresso boutique is the first of its kind in Malaysia.
Covering an area of 60 sq metres, the upscale boutique features a wide range of Jura Espresso Machines from Switzerland and WMF Coffee Machines from Germany.
Renowned for their high quality and exquisitely designed coffee machines, the Jura and WMF coffee machines are targeted at households and commercial businesses.
The Espresso Boutique also features a service area and lounge area for customers to have a first-hand experience savouring the perfect cappuccino or coffee from Jura and WMF’s bean-to-cup machines.
Ricmas president and representative of Jura South-East Asia Albert Birbaumer said: “The Ricmas Espresso Boutique aims to provide a complete ‘coffee solution‘ to all coffee lovers where they can view and choose from an array of fully automatic espresso machines, accessories, care materials, cups and saucers as well as superior quality coffee beans that will help them brew the perfect cuppa.”
Customers who visit the Ricmas Espresso Boutique will have a wide range of quality coffee machines to choose from. There is a wide selection that fits every need with prices ranging from RM4,900 for domestic use to over RM100,000 for commercial businesses.
To assist customers, the boutique’s well-trained staff are on hand to help them select the correct machine to suit their specific needs.
“Customer service is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, we continue to make sure that our customers get the best experience from their espresso machines even after the point of purchase. One of the initiatives that we have implemented is training sessions for our customers on how to get the most out of their bean-to-cup machine. We will teach them to concoct the offerings from the wide range of recipes found in the specially compiled booklet which they will receive,” said Birbaumer.
Customers who have sent their espresso machines for servicing can have peace of mind through the boutique’s ‘transparent’ service depot. They can view the service process through a glass window where they can witness how their machine is being serviced.
The interior décor and lighting concepts of the Ricmas Espresso Boutique were carefully planned to highlight the designs of the espresso machines.
To ensure that customers get a new experience when they visit the boutique, Ricmas adopted the “live” concept where the arrangement of the Jura espresso machines on the islands are changed periodically.
“We believe the Ricmas Espresso Boutique will be well received by all coffee lovers who desire to drink a decent cup of Espresso to Latte Macchiato.
“Moreover, there has been an upsurge of espresso-based coffee-drinking culture which has become a world-wide trend,” added Birbaumer.
Besides giving a perfectly brewed beverage, espresso machines are now becoming part of the interior design of a home. The Jura espresso machines for domestic usage possess sleek designs with variety of colours to add a touch of panache to any contemporary décor.
In conjunction with the launch of the Ricmas Espresso Boutique, Ricmas unveiled the latest model from Jura and WMF – the Jura ENA Micro 9 One Touch, Jura GIGA 5 and WMF 1800 S.
The Jura ENA Micro 9 is the world’s smallest one-touch automatic cappuccino machine that makes a perfect cup of cappuccino at a touch of a button.
For top-of-the-line offering, Jura presents the GIGA 5 which has an initiative control concept with TFT display, rotary selection and easy-to-identify preparation buttons for easy selection of the choice of beverage that customers want to create. The GIGA 5 makes the perfect café latte through its ability to prepare the coffee and heat up milk simultaneously, a function which was previously restricted to professional machines.
The WMF 1800 S is a fully-automatic speciality self-service coffee machine suited for offices, self-service restaurants and public places. With a capacity of 200 cups a day, the WMF 1800 S offers a menu of beverages which include Espresso, Café Crème, Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato, Café Latte and hot chocolate. Each unit has a touch-screen display with automatic cleaning programme, beverage registration, hot water dispensing, fixed water supply and dry discharge as well as one or two grinders and with a twin chocolate topping.
The Ricmas Espresso Boutique is open from Monday to Friday and from 9am to 5.30pm.
Customers can make appointment to view the Espresso Boutique for Saturdays and Sundays.
